This has taken way too long to remember to get around to putting on here, but a few years ago I made (very crude) patches that deface the Game Boy Player logo on GBA video titles, in order to allow them to work on the GBP. Normally, they detect the GBP and block its use.

For now I'll just put up this quick and dirty page just to have it on my site, but eventually I should add more information and make it look better. Until then, you can go ahead and download the zip of all of them: GBA_video_GBP_patches.zip There's a readme. Not every GBA video is supported, but many are. The rest... weren't finished yet, but perhaps one day.
